The Dacusville Bands are a proud part of the DMS family. Students enrolled in the band program learn the fundamentals of playing woodwinds, brass, or percussion instruments, and use these skills to perform in our school, community, and even across the state! Dacusville Bands have students participate in the Pickens All-County Honor Band, Region One Honor Band, SC All State Band as individuals, as well as ensembles performing at SC Concert Performance Assessment. In recent years the Bands have been awarded Excellent Ratings at both Concert Performance Assessment, and the Carowinds Festival of Music. After leaving Dacusville Middle School, students continue their musical journey in the award-winning Pickens High School Bands.
